Backstory
Past
Briar was born into a Hrothgar tribe where each individual iconic horns that have magical symbols drawn upon them. She loved her tribe and had two loving fathers, Borce and Gordemir, who supported her in whatever she had wanted to do.She grew up with an inquisitive mind, curious and wanting to know more about the modernity of the world. Thus, she sought out a Bozjan engineer who taught her all she needed to know about engineering and technician work for most of her life. She would manage to complete her apprenticeship and thereafter education after many long, arduous years.However, she would move to Kugane when the Garlean Invasion struck, fleeing with the rest of her tribe. With nowhere else to go, she would deign to focus on her studies since they could not fight back, deciding to leave Kugane to look for something more.That was when she studied Garlean Magitek technology intently through her time with the Garlond Ironworks, learning more about how to become a magiteknician.She would then use this knowledge to help her fight against the Garleans in Bozja when the resistance was trying to take back their homeland. Though, this has caused her to sustain multiple serious injuries across her body, resulting in her scars.She vowed to help all those that she encounters on her journey, repaying the love, friendliness and care that was given to her.Present
Briar is well-travelled and knows much about the culture of the world, she does worry about her horns and hides their sigils as she is worried that people might see her as a voidsent. With her expertise in engineering and being in the Garlond Ironworks, she would travel far and wide to assist whenever she can. She is well-known for being versed in combining Umbral and Astral aspected elemental aether into technology.Currently, she has finished her thesis and investigated her clan to find out they came from Tural, reforming her ideas of family and her own race. However, she has a distant feeling with her tribe due to their lies despite her closeness to her fathers.Storyline Plot
